Here are some key points that I would advise you to concentrate on

  • Your starting point doesn't need to be your end point. Shaanin's family immigrated over and he sourced methods to learn and grow and not dwell on where he was, he looked at what he could become. 
  • Don't look at threats and challenges as a bad thing, see them as a chance to reframe as opportunities. Something missing, can you fill it? Something not working, is there a solution? Something working, can it be improved? Just because something is working or has always been that way, doesn't mean it needs to be that way consistently! Look at all events as a chance to grow, develop and evolve. 
  • Use pain and your worst situation as a motivation tool rather as a way to hold yourself in your current situation. 
  • Create systems in your life and business to sell, to grow, to build, to action procedures.  
  • Avoid letting your current successes hold you back by growing further. You can always start again, you can always make it again, you just need to have that belief and the grit that you can take a beating and come back up. 
  • Learn from your mistakes. Learn from hardships and challenges in your life. You never fail until you stop and give up. 
  • You need to analyse your life and look at what you do well AND what you struggle with, and your weaknesses. Don't settle. Don't wait and rest, your enemies are plotting your demise while you sleep. Be willing to work, and not rest on your laurels. 
  • You need to diversify your income streams, and be like Shaanin have pillars of finance. Don't leave all your financial eggs in one basket. Your ability to do things, freedom of movement etc depend on your financial status. Build options, systems and procedures to help make money automatically, invest and grow while you work. 
  • Your ability to influence others is the key to success. Telling a good story, building emotions in others, appealing to their needs are keys to successful sales. 
  • Selling is selling, regardless of the type of products etc. Everything around you has been sold by one person or another. You can sell too, you can be a person of influence, you just need to decide if you will be a seller or not.  
  • Every sale is made before the customer knows about you or comes on your site. They want to make the purchase and looking for the site that fits their opinion of the product, of who they are etc.  
  • Find a market, and niche down your product range to begin. See what the market needs, and then sell the product there and find an innovation that makes you different to others and begin, and influence sales. Stop waiting to be perfect and just begin! 
  • Shaahin sees people focusing on the little parts of the business too much, and suffer from paralysis analysis. Those who don't begin will never succeed. You have to start somewhere. 
  • You are not your customer. You can't bet on your hunches, you need to discover what your customers truly want and build systems to supply the need, which will allow you to create recurring revenue streams. 
  • Bring value into the world. Don't just try and be the middle man. 
  • You don't need to do it all alone or know it all. You can source people to do the build, the coding, the design etc, there are a variety of ways. You can find people to help, masterminds to help you grow and assist. Find people who have done similar things and mirror them to begin with until you find your own style. 
  • You can sell and be married. You can sell and have kids. But you will need to take a risk and Shaahin suggests having $10k to use as a fund to launch a very healthy business. Don't risk your main money, wait until you have the savings of $10k that if lost wouldn't affect your life, or ability to pay bills etc.  
  • Remember behind every sale, there is a person, behind every service there is a person. You need to know that the person wants what you are selling, or you move on.
